THE MEANING OF EPIPHANY
Why “Epiphany”?
To have an “epiphany” is to see something clearly that was once hidden. In the Church’s calendar, the season of Epiphany focuses on the revealing of Jesus Christ to the world.
We look to the Magi in Matthew 2 as our model. They sought the King, encountered His presence, and were transformed into witnesses of His reign. As a congregation, “Epiphany” defines our identity: we are a people formed by the revelation of God’s grace, sent out to manifest that light in the darkness.
